Hello! Here’s a bit about us:

We are regular people, Ukrainians, whose peaceful life was altered dramatically since February 24, 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine. In the early days of the war, we were shocked and frightened...

But then we realized that we needed to act, that we couldn’t sit on our hands, and we couldn’t just run away. So, we pulled ourselves together and began to ramp up our humanitarian efforts.

My name is Maria, a teacher by profession. In the first days of the war, I provided free English lessons for children online. Oleksiy, who is not a military man at all, with the words "I have a car,” joined the effort of evacuating women, children and pets from the territories captured by the enemy. Then people started contacting us directly. Moms with children, pregnant women, elderly... and so arose the need to create the not-for-profit organization “Moms and Kids of Ukraine.”

Now we are familiar with more than 200 Ukrainian families, who were forced by the war to leave their homes, and many of them, unfortunately, no longer have a home.

Yet we are an incredible nation! Together we are strong, free, and united!
